One part of this Masterclass explores money as a technology, which has evolved throughout history and is now being updated for a digital and interconnected economy.
Technological progress is deflationary, while our current financial system is based on an inflationary approach. This conflict creates tension in both the economy and society.
Bitcoin emerged during the financial crisis of 2008 and has since seen increasing adoption – first among individuals, and increasingly among institutions and companies. Terahash combines technological and economic perspectives to demonstrate the potential Bitcoin can unlock.

Our Masterclass focusing on Bitcoin as an energy technology is designed for experts from the energy industry, sector coupling, and data center environments. The fundamentals of Bitcoin mining are presented, along with requirements and challenges for mining projects.
Using real-world examples and industry trends, opportunities for sector coupling between electricity, heat, IT, and finance are introduced.
Use cases such as heat recovery, grid stabilization, and multi-functional server rack systems in our in-house Energy Lab make the Masterclass a practical, hands-on workshop.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE MASTERCLASSES AND A CUSTOM WORKSHOP?
The Masterclasses are professional training formats consisting of a one-day seminar. They take place on predefined dates at terahash facilities and also serve as an opportunity for exchange and networking.
Our custom workshop offering is designed for companies. The agenda is developed individually, focusing on company strategy and current challenges. Depending on the topic, additional partners from the Bitcoin industry may be involved.
IS DIGITAL PARTICIPATION POSSIBLE?
The Masterclasses are intentionally designed as on-site events to enable direct and confidential exchange around Bitcoin and mining. Our Energy Lab makes Bitcoin tangible and experiential. Currently, there is no online Masterclass available.
IS PRIOR KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED?
No specific prior knowledge is required. Bitcoin connects finance, energy, IT, and history, allowing participants from various backgrounds to contribute and benefit from interdisciplinary exchange.
WILL THERE BE TIME FOR QUESTIONS AND DISCUSSING SPECIFIC CHALLENGES?
The Masterclasses cover the fundamentals and use cases of Bitcoin and Bitcoin mining. There will be sufficient time for discussion and questions. For planning concrete projects, we are also happy to schedule separate consultations beyond the Masterclass.
