Roman Reher and Bastian Bleker are thus Co-Founder
Blocktrainer Capital acquires 20% of terahash.energy GmbH business shares and joins the start-up terahash. This is a pre-seed financing round at co-founder level. However, the primary goal is to bring expert knowledge and reach on board with Blocktrainer. The partnership complements each other on many levels: Spin-off from traditional family business (Kläger Group) meets Bitcoin community, brand and expert knowledge. Terahash deals with New Energy Solutions & Research and offers education and consulting services in the field of energy and Bitcoin.
The project and the Blocktrainer brand are operated by Münster-based bCyber GmbH. Blocktrainer is now the most successful and widest-reaching German brand with a bitcoin-only focus. Taking a long-term view, Roman Reher (CEO and Founder Blocktrainer) and his business partner Bastian Bleker are joining Kristian Kläger, CEO and Founder of terahash.energy GmbH, as additional terahash Co-Founders. Together, the product and service offering is to be refined and expanded to act as the “front door into the Bitcoin world” and professionally accompany people on their Bitcoin journey of discovery.
Exploit synergies, expand network
Exploiting synergies, expanding the network terahash.energy GmbH has its focus primarily in the area of New Energy Infrastructure and Bitcoin data centers and acts as a consultant and specialist planner. Interested companies and individuals who understand this technology as a highly flexible power consumer and want to integrate it into their processes will find the right contact at terahash.
Blocktrainer has in-depth IT and Bitcoin blockchain expertise as well as a broad network in this field. As one of Europe’s most successful Youtuber and educator – meanwhile expert at the news magazine Focus and regularly seen on TV in documentaries and reports about Bitcoin technology – Roman Reher brings a large reach and community and enriches the terahash team with both his industry experience and his flair for marketing & communication.

Common vision
Bringing Bitcoin closer in all its facets is the concern of both companies. Terahash wants to lay the foundation of Bitcoin education with the Education division, in order to then communicate the meaningfulness and benefits of the Bitcoin energy infrastructure to the outside world.
In the area of New Energy, various software developments are in the pipeline in addition to offerings around highly flexible and mobile data centers. Further, the establishment and registration of a European Bitcoin Energy Association (EBEA) is planned to educate about Proof-of-Work – the consensus mechanism that characterizes the Bitcoin network.
Both parties intend to cooperate in the long term and to lay the first building block for a successful future with this partnership.
